The world’s most popular energy drink wanted to bring a new level of HD content to its legions of fans. The goal was clear: give people live, on-demand access to sports, music, and entertainment programming from anywhere—mobile, desktop, and any connected device. Designing a fully connected HD platform
To create a full digital TV channel-like experience, and enable dynamic ad insertion and personalization, the About Objects team architected and developed a dynamic HLS stitching for linear, live, and VOD streams. In the process, we rewrote legacy applications using state-of-the-art microservices technologies and modern REST APIs that support video streaming for 17 mobile and connected devices. Finally, we built a scalable data analytics platform providing insight into usage patterns.
