< 1 min readJust when I was pondering the twilight of my career, contemplating retirement, a revolutionary blend of technologies beckoned me to rethink everything. The advent of Apple’s Vision Pro, coupled with the breakthroughs in spatial computing, Large Language Models (LLMs), artificial intelligence, drones, photogrammetry, and the art of functional programming, has reignited my passion with an unmistakable message: “The journey is far from over.”
Currently, my workspace is bustling with the energy of eleven desktops, transforming me into a veritable “multi-thrashing” dynamo. This moment in my career is unlike any other; it’s an exhilarating fusion of innovation and creativity that I’ve found profoundly fulfilling.
The epicenter of this thrilling ride is About Objects. It’s not just the reunion with the brilliant minds of my past that makes this experience enriching, nor is it solely the infusion of fresh, immensely talented young individuals eager to dive headfirst into the technological renaissance. It’s the synergy of experience and new perspectives, the collective eagerness to explore uncharted territories of tech that truly electrifies the atmosphere.
Our Reston office stands as a testament to innovation, not just in its design but as a source of daily inspiration. Words barely do justice to the vibrancy and energy that fill these spaces. And soon, with an influx of Vision Pro-clad colleagues navigating their day with a blend of concentration and whimsy, the environment is set to become even more dynamic.
I invite you to witness this spectacle, to step into a realm where the convergence of technology and talent creates something truly magical. About Objects isn’t just a place of work; it’s a beacon for the future, and the fun is just beginning.
